About Fogline
Fogline Post was created to solve the editing problem with a real human fix. No rotating strangers at a big editing company, and no AI edits you end up fixing yourself.
My name is Luke Stimson, and I'm a working photographer based in San Francisco. For over 8 years I've shot and retouched event, wedding, portrait, and commercial work, and somewhere along the way I realized the part I looked forward to most was the edit: the quiet hours grading a gallery into one consistent and refined look.
Most photographers I know feel the opposite. They love the shooting and dread the countless hours spent behind the computer, where every yes to another booking means another string of evenings in Lightroom.
Most of the "solutions" we've found are either AI tools that leave you doing the QC, cull, and fixes, or a big editing house that puts your gallery in a queue with a rotating cast of editors who've never met you.
Fogline Post is a simple trade: you do the part you love, and we do the part we love. Hand off the post-production and put that time back into shooting and booking more clients. Every client has a direct line to me, every style profile is built by hand, and we learn your style a little more with every gallery. The goal is an editing partner you trust enough to stop double-checking.
The fogline is that ridge where San Francisco fog breaks and the light pours through. It's what a good edit does to a RAW file.
